In keeping with the "vintage" Great Bear Lodge brochure in the following story, please enjoy this short movie featuring Great Bear Lake Lodge, hosted by Garcia and Seagrams Distillers in what appears to be 1965.
It's interesting to note the comments about there being 50 and 60 pounders in the freezer, and that they unloaded the days catch using a huge galvanized pail, and wheelbarrow!
There is also a comment near the end of the film about all fishermen being liars, and that at Great Bear no lying was necessary - or something along those lines.
Well, have a look at the fish they claim was 35 pounds, and you tell me it that's true or not...
